Ballet Nebraska artistic director Erika Overturff discussed the company’s upcoming Momentum production in an interview Wednesday (February 2) on Omaha public-radio station KIOS-FM. What goes into the rehearsal process for a diverse program of varied choreography such as Ballet Nebraska’s upcoming ‘Momentum’? A lot of hard work, attention to detail, careful coaching, demonstrations, a few laughs, and a lot of creative satisfaction, as you can see in this slide show of photos from a recent studio rehearsal. The finished product will be on view February 11 at the IWCC Arts Center and February 12 at Joslyn Art Museum’s Witherspoon Concert Hall.
